Yoga On The Walkill offers a host of classes for every level, 7 days a week.


 

Hatha Yoga(All Levels)

Our hatha yoga classes are appropriate for all levels and offers a blend of movement, body-mind connections, breath-work and meditation.This class promotes healing and all around well being.

 

Power Yoga

Power yoga provides a vigorous workout through strong vinyasa sequences and strength building exercises.

 

Restorative/Yin Yoga

A slow and soothing practice holding poses in a gentle fashion for long periods of time; restores body alignment and peace of mind. This class is a great way to wind down from a long work week.

 

Gentle Yoga

Our gentle yoga classes offer participants a less strenuous experience. These sessions are similar to our hatha yoga classes. However, poses are modified to provide a slower and more individualized practice.

 

Meditation

Once per month we provide our community with a meditation session centered around a particular theme. Past themes included mindfulness,stillness, gratitude, chakras and seasonal solstices. A variety of techniques are used to enhance the mediation process. Group discussion is also part of this session.

 

Y12SR

Y12SR combines the practical tools of the 12-step program with the ancient wisdom of yoga. Combining the the two creates a model that truly addresses addiction as the physical, mental and
spiritual dis-ease that it is. Y12SR is a twelve step bases discussion and yoga practice open to anyone and everyone dealing with their own addictive behavior or affected by the addictive behavior of others. This open and inclusive group takes place every first and third Sunday of the month. All are welcome.
